Chris Charles Dryden, 66, died Sunday, July 31, 2017 at home with family.

Chris is survived by daughters, Christi Glenn (husband Denny Glenn) and Autumn Dryden; grandchildren, Catie Glenn and David Glenn (wife Katie Glenn); sister, Carol Prine (husband Don Prine); niece, Jennifer Haney (husband Dustin Haney); nephew, Jeremy Prine, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Alfrieda Dryden. Family was everything to Chris.

Chris is survived by daughters, Christi Glenn (husband Denny Glenn) and Autumn Dryden; grandchildren, Catie Glenn and David Glenn (wife Katie Glenn); sister, Carol Prine (husband Don Prine); niece, Jennifer Haney (husband Dustin Haney); nephew, Jeremy Prine, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Alfrieda Dryden. Family was everything to Chris.

Chris was born in Fremont, NE on September 28, 1950. His family moved to Olympia, WA when he was a child and he remained a lifelong resident of Olympia. He graduated from Olympia High School in 1968 and attended a vocational auto mechanic program. He worked as a mechanic in Olympia for over 40 years until he retired.

Chris grew up hunting and fishing with his family. He enjoyed hiking and camping on the Olympic Peninsula and worked as a volunteer firefighter in the late 1950s and early 1960s. He was also a lifelong National Rifle Association (NRA) member and enjoyed HAM radio and listening to his scanners.

A funeral service will be held at Mills and Mills Funeral Home in Tumwater, WA on August 15. A reception is scheduled from 12pm to 2pm with a graveside service following at 2pm.
